We are a small group who meet several times each year to share experiences, knowledge and fellowship. When needed the group will hold work parties on projects at individual farms – many hands makes the work so much easier. By sharing our labors, our successes AND our failures, we help each other make better decisions for ourselves, our animals and our farms.

In addition, on the second Sunday in October we hold The Pittsford Sheep Festival at the recreation field just outside of Pittsford. We use this as an opportunity to sell our products and entertain several hundred festival-goers with sheep shearing and working dog demonstrations – and, the vaunted “leaping of the lambs”.

We use funds from dues and from festival t-shirt and food sales to purchase equipment that the group shares without cost. The dues are $1/month, and obviously well-worth-it!
